Cooperative Teaching Artsits (CTA)
Most music schools have "faculty" or, worse yet "staff." At Portland's only music education cooperative calls them Cooperative Teaching Artists. CTAs are multi-talented musicians given the unique opportunity to teach, perform, and collaborate, making our community a more vibrant place for music making. Our one-of-a-kind cooperative structure allows them to share resources, ideas, and space to keep costs low and musicianship high. Plain old teachers just can't compete with them!
